Frozen Secrets takes place 250 years after human intervention to reverse global warming backfired and triggered the Great Ice Age. Humanity fled to habitable zones. Thus the Yellowstone Settlement is born. Carter Smithson is living a life of privilege in the Faithful Province when she risks it all to protect her twin sister, Beckett. Her father pays to sweep it under the rug but she has to face some kind of punishment, ten years of Settlement Guard duty.

Tyler Fliestag is the commanding officer at the Settlement Guard Training Camp and Carter’s ex-boyfriend. When he tries to access her file it is restricted. He wonders why and suspicion grows.
